COLLECTIVE ACT
– FOR REAL

There is a plan. Let’s accelerate it together - youth leaders, brands, artists, scientists, innovators and others. We believe in the collective act and that the power of creativity will lead to progress. So for a day, let’s put business as usual aside and focus on the Collective Act – for real. Connecting the dots – for real. Introducing the new, optimistic way forward to make sure we all end up on the right side of history. That’s why it’s more important than ever to kickstart the Heart, to create a joint HEARTBEAT at the meeting April 21 - the United Nations World Creativity and Innovation Day.

So join us for a day of content making, panel talks, music, artists, network, insights and learning – a day of Collective Act towards the common goal to ignite hope in the world! In times of uncertainty, optimism is a brave choice. Because we can’t fix the planet if humanity is broken. The future is limitless, unwritten and calling – So let’s make it meaningful.

Join and meet partners and friends to explore how we all could make impact to over 1 billion people the same day, with the same focus: A Collective Act United by Creativity that can reboot the world. One message – many creative voices.

CREATIVE ACTIVISM – Does it Work?

Moderator: Jacob Felländer

Panelists: Hanna Grahn, OOYY, Jonas Löhr

Panel description: Past generations have been radical, and perhaps naïve in their actions. Youth of today however, are under no illusions about the challenges we face, and this perspective comes with some fear of the future. This burden on young minds comes through no fault of their own, and we must cooperate to shift mindsets and foster hope. How should decision makers, brands and others act to build trust, loyalty and action among their audiences? What can we learn from each other across generations and sectors? And how do we support youthful creativity in balance with a level-headed awareness of the risks ahead of us?

COLLECTIVE & CREATIVE ACTIVISM IN ACTION

Moderator:  Lisa Lindström

Panelists: Sahara Widoff, Anna Ryott

World premiere - preview and dialogue of "The Human Interest".

With this art piece, HEART 17 wishes to spark the notion of that a collective inspiring effort is both possible and needed for humans in today’s world. The virtuous circle between hope and action is clear. Youth leader actions and artists engagement are key to inspire more to join the plan. Hope is the asset we all need to cherish to make a difference for ourselves and others.

Simultaneously, the IPCC report, as shared by the scientists, is the starkest reminder of why. Looking purely at the data presented, it is easy to feel despair. HEART 17's mission with this film is to inspire hope and creative action.

The UN building becomes a metaphor for the creative ideas to rest within, as a kind of nest for dreaming and shelter for creativity. It’s time for a new story. A story of hope.
